Power Meter Ready
How do Quarq power meters work?
Power meters typically work by measuring the force on a component (hub, pedal axle, crank arm, spider) using strain gauges. They then convert this to power by multiplying it by the angular velocity of that component
Quarq’s Power Meter platform will help you reach a higher level in training, competing and riding. And with the new Quarq Prime Power Ready Crankset, it’s easy and affordable.
The Prime uses the eight-bolt crank to spider interface. According to Quarq product manager Troy Hoskin, the eight-bolt interface “aids manufacturing and serviceability. More importantly, it delivers stable and consistent zero offsets when power meter spiders are swapped between crank arms,” compared to the three-bolt interface.
Compatible with the Quarq DZero power meter spider (not included)
Crankset is in great condition showing exceptionally little wear, if any. This was a take-off from a bicycle and looks fantastic. Pedals have been mounted, yet the threads are clean showing no color or surface wear. Ring shows little, if any signs of having a chain on it for very long. See pictures for details.
